World Earth Day – What is Our Industry Doing to Support Sustainability?

As described in April's Comment article, other than the current pandemic, the main topic of major global concern – and one that will endure long after the pandemic has (we hope) receded – is the environment.

The sustainability of cash is a theme that we have already been developing, and will cover more frequently and with a greater focus in future issues of Currency News™.

In the meantime, to mark World Earth Day, which this year took place on 22 April, a number of companies in our sector have issued reports or updates on issues surrounding their environmental agendas, with contributions from Portals, Giesecke+Devrient, CCL Secure and De La Rue covered in this feature.
