Kusters’ first ever secure banknote destruction system was bought by Dutch security printer Joh Enschedé in 1979 to destroy misprinted banknotes, postage stamps and test sheets.
Royal Dutch Kusters Engineering, the oldest manufacturer of currency destruction systems, is celebrating its 110th anniversary this year, on 9 June.
