High-Precision Intelligent Refining Based on Big Data Analysis
In the production of specialty and security substrates, the refining process is a core procedure that determines the uniformity, strength and stability of paper products. Traditional manual refining is highly experience-dependent, and suffers from delayed regulation, large fluctuations in quality indicators, and high consumption of energy and consumables. Such drawbacks make it difficult to meet the high-speed and high-precision requirements of modern papermaking.
To break through this bottleneck, Kunshan Banknote Paper Co (KBPC), a subsidiary of China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation (CBPM), has developed an intelligent refining system based on big data analysis for process and equipment upgrading.
This system, says KBPC, has realised a leap from experience-driven to data-driven refining operations, providing key technical support for the production of high-end anticounterfeiting paper.
