Updated Banknote for Peru

The Central Reserve Bank of Peru has issued a new version of the 200 soles banknote with an enhanced security thread. The original note, dated 2021 but issued in 2023, featured a 4mm wide RAPID® Detect thread, with IR machine readability. Its successor, dated 2024, features a 5mm wide RAPID® Vision Detect thread, the difference being faster, more fluid, and multi-colour movement in shades of green and turquoise.
