IACA’s Excellence in Currency Awards program was introduced in 2007 to promote and recognise excellence in banknote and coin production, processing, management, distribution, and related activities of the cash community. It is the industry’s first awards programme and remains highly respected and appreciated.

All nominated projects are evaluated and scored against the award criteria by the IACA Judging Committee, with the top three highest-scoring entries named as finalists. IACA voting members then determine the winners.

The final three categories – Best New Limited Circulation/Commemorative Banknote; Best New Banknote Feature, Product or Process and Best New House Note – will be announced at the Banknote Conference in Washington DC, 11-14 May.

Detailed information about all current and past award nominees, finalist and winning projects can be accessed on the IACA website at currencyaffairs.org.
